Linh Nguyen: Secret ingredient? A genuine smile, genuine eye contact

Linh Nguyen brings a breath of fresh air behind the bar – and without any alcohol. Born in Berlin in 1988, she's got Vietnamese roots and is a big name in the non-alcoholic mixology scene. In 2022, she was named the world's best bartender ('Lady Amarena World') and previously won the '1st European Bartender Cup'.

With her book Like a Virgin, the first German guide to mocktails, she shows how much flavour, depth and personality there is in non-alcoholic drinks. Her mission is to have a rethink about what enjoyment actually means. Linh shows that you don't need strong spirits to have a good bar, just personality.
