With the click of a button and based on data analyses Discover Dollar helps retailers detect and resolve revenue leakages in real-time. To this end, the company analyses various data sources, including purchase orders and invoices, resource planning, but also unstructured data such as e-mails and contracts.

What is the vision of your start-up?

Discover Dollar seeks to pioneer value creation for enterprises from existing data. We take a "data first" approach and leverage data science to uncover potential value from customer data. 4 years from now we want to be working with major Fortune 500 retailers and discover at least $1bn in value for them. Just like Google is a synonym for search engines, we want to be a synonym for value creation in enterprises.

We are poised to go global. We believe that the METRO Accelerator will give us an opportunity to obtain a great validation of new geographies. More importantly, with the right mentorship and guidance, we can look forward to leapfrog in terms of our growth history.

What is the vision of your start-up?

In contrast to paper-based processes, this digitalised way of managing operations is completely transparent. Our company started with the objective to come up with a way to keep the security guards awake at night. There was a gap in the market for a technology that could solve this problem. This is where we took our first leap to founding the company. We are looking to scale operations beyond India and have added features of data analytics to the portfolio. We want to be the go-to platform for scaling and managing business operations.

What is the benefit of this programme?

Our product at large has been meeting the needs of the Indian customers – in our next steps, we are looking forward to getting support from the programme to mature as a company and, along with it, our product roadmap and go-to market strategy to serve global clients.

What is the vision of your start-up?

In the medium term, we will put in the market a lighting service for retailers that will not require experts to install, maintain and operate the systems. 10 years from now, we envision ProtoPixel as a “lingua franca” that will allow industry players to create cutting-edge, smart lighting products – from software and services to hardware devices – that seamlessly connect with each other.

We reached a point where we have a solid solution that brings value to target customers and that shows traction within the retail market. We believe that our solution is ready to be scaled up, and the METRO Accelerator is the perfect spot for us to build the foundations we need to accelerate, fund and grow our business. NeuroApplied analyses explicit and implicit perceptions with the help of neuroscience and algorithms. This way, the company provides a comprehensive picture of consumer reaction to a certain topic. Moreover, NeuroApplied can predict the real drivers of preference and provide clear suggestions for improving a brand’s standing. Our long term vision is for Chief Marketing Officers of large brands to be able to perform data driven positioning and messaging and to link it with business performance and create a continuous feedback loop. Integration into other behavioural data collection tools like customer-facing brand apps, landing pages, or social media assets will enable matching of cognitive and behavioural data for the purpose of coming up with new types of holistic insights.
