Training and educating employees on a regular basis-especially when laws, rules, and regulations change? A time-consuming challenge for employers. Food Hygiene? First Aid? Infection Control? The browser-based application, with training programs in 18 different languages, includes all legally required training courses. Short explanatory videos in simple language convey the content to employees. The app also helps with documentation requirements. After all, not only do employees need to keep their knowledge up to date, but employers also need to monitor progress and, most importantly, document it. For example, the Ministry of Health regularly inspects companies and checks that all employees have completed the required training.

Michael Jank, managing director and owner of Tre Culinara restaurant, summarizes the digital restaurant solution as saving time and making work easier: "We save about six hours in training new employees - that's a huge relief." Matthias Müller from the Buchbar café and restaurant also draws a positive conclusion from the practical test: "The ability to have documents at hand without having to search for them is a huge help. This saves the company about two hours of administrative work each week.

But it's not just employers who find HoReCa HERO a relief; the feedback from employees is also positive, according to Michael Jank of the Tre Culinara restaurant. "Easy to understand" is one praise, and: The videos are "more interesting than previous trainings with external trainers" - which is why employees complete the units faster and better. The crew at Café and Restaurant Buchbar also appreciates the short and concise content. After all, they often lack the attention and time for longer videos. After all, Gastro-Heroes prefer to spend their time where their passion lies: in the kitchen or with their guests.
