Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)

The TCFD helps to identify information for investors, lenders and insurance companies for the assessment of climate-related risks and opportunities.

What’s it all about?

• What is the TCFD?

The Task Force on climate-related financial disclosures (TCFD) is a global initiative that was established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) in 2015. It provides various stakeholders with information for the assessment and measurement of climate-related financial opportunities and risks.

The FSB founded the Task Force to develop consistent, comparable and voluntary reporting recommendations. TCFD Reporting aims to provide stakeholders with consistent information relevant to decision-making.
