With the help of the portal www.HilfeLokal.de, which was developed by the METRO subsidiary Hospitality Digital and the Berlin-based FinTech OptioPay within about a week, restaurants and other independent entrepreneurs can quickly and easily create digital vouchers and offer them to their customers. When registering via the online platform https://www.dish.co/DE/de/tools/vouchers/ and the website https://www.metro.de/hilfelokal, METRO will cover the costs incurred for registration and commission until the end of May. Consumers can purchase the vouchers via the website and thus, for example, help their favourite pubs to bridge liquidity bottlenecks during the corona crisis.
