Seaweeds, the food of the future
Seaweeds are true masters of survival. They can endure extreme temperature changes and strong UV radiation. Thereby they grow ten times faster as other plants, even in polluted areas, and convert three times more CO2 than other crop plants. But what makes them particularly interesting: They produce plenty of nutrients. Their protein content is comparable to eggs, with an almost non-existent fat content. These wonders of the ocean got what it takes to be the food of the future.
