Ádám? Here is METRO MPULSE…
Hey. It’s my pleasure to talk to you ✌
Tomorrow's gonna be a good day. The finale of the Bocuse d'Or.
Right.
How do you feel?
Due to the fact that I have been waiting for this competition since 4 years, I have mixed feelings 😉 One hand, can’t wait to be on stage and to do my best. On the other hand, it’s strange to see my calendar having less Bocuse d’Or related events after 31st of January 🤔
You cook for all Hungary 😉 What feeling do you take with you into the competition?
It’s a real honor to represent my country. Together with my team, I want to show the best not only the jury but the entire Hungarian hospitality community and fans.
We were told that METRO is supporting you!? 😉
Oh Yes! 😊 METRO Hungary has been with me for three years now. I was always allowed to work in the METRO Gastro Academy, try new ingredients and learn new techniques. So, a big thank you for all the support in the past! 😘
As a professional chef at the Bocuse D’Or … What does that mean for you?
This competition will give me so much energy and possibilities what I have to pass to the younger generation – that’s for sure. As I mentioned, my last 5 months was dedicated to the final. I was not able to think anything else than the 5 hours 35 mins 😬
Well then … Give everything! 😉 Best of luck 😊
Thank you very much 😊 Greetings to Germany!
The Bocuse d'Or 2019 will take place in Lyon on 29 and 30 January. Every two years, top chefs from all over the world compete for bronze, silver and gold. This year, representatives from 24 nations will be competing to prepare a starter and a main course of their choice in five hours and 35 minutes. As one of the main sponsors, METRO will exclusively supply four selected seafood ingredients and a wide range of vegetables for the 17th World Final. The 24 finalists will create a dish with the theme 'Chartreuse vegetables with shellfish'.
On the occasion of the international cooking competition "Bocuse d'Or" there is an interview with the Berlin star chef Marco Müller. He talks about food culture, top gastronomy, the challenges that gastronomes face today and what support he would like to receive from politicians.
